Road to Ninja

Along the gates of Konoha, entered Team 12, coming back from a mission. Fujiwara, her head held high and back straight walked towards the administration swiftly, looking back once in a while to scream at her team. Really, how could she have been teamed with these people. She sighed before placing her hands on her hips, "Hurry up, you maggots!" she called out.

Takaki straightened up, and quickly ran to catch up to Fujiwara but not too close that she'd be able to hit him. "Y-yes goddess!" he screamed and shut his eyes tight, terrified of his team leader. Natsuo, who was far behind already, looked up and his eyes widened when he noticed the large gap between them. He ran to catch up to them but he ended up tripping on his own feet and landed face first in the dirt. A moment of silence before a muffled "sorry" was heard from him.

Fujiwara face-palmed, "I'm surrounded by idiots."

"Fuji-chan!"

It was hard not to hear that high-pitched singy-song voice. Not quiet far from behind them was Team 9, who had apparently also returned from their mission. Yuki half-skipped towards to Natsuo who had fallen flat on his face. "Ne, Natsuo-kun~ are you alright?" she spoke sweetly as she crouched beside him.

"Leave him alone, Yuki. We still need to report to Hokage-sama." Suzume's dull voice spoke as she walked past them with a frown on her face. Midori quietly followed behind the two. She didn't even turn to Natsuo or to the others. Her gaze was fixed straight on her path like no one was around.

Fujiwara twitched. She turned her head to the other team and nodded to them in greeting, but didn't say anything. Natsuo looked up and smiled, "I-I'm fine," he tells Yuki as he stands up and brushes himself off. Takaki on the other hand was having a bit of a dilemma. He glanced at Fujiwara, then at Yuki, then back to Fujiwara. His team leader finally noticed this and smirked.

"Oh, you want to go over there and greet them?" she asks, Takaki nodded his head furiously without saying a word. Fujiwara's smile dropped, "Well, you can't."

"What!? You failed your mission again!?" A red haired young man piped up in front of Hokage building gate, "how many times I have to tell you not to get solo C-ranked mission!?" Rizumu Takeru, held his head high at his twin sister who a bit crouched down while covering her head.

"Sorry! I am sorry, onii-sama...!" she cried, "d-d-do not be mad, please... You scared me..." just like a kindergarten student she acted.

Takeru sighed heavily, "I still can't believe we're twins.." he face palmed, "you go explain to otou-sama yourself, Shiha. I don't want to cover you this time.." he walked off.

"W-w-w-what!?" Shiha quickly raised her head. Her eyes were puffy and actually baggy eyes. "Nooo! Don't be so crueel!" she chased his brother and clung to his arm. "Don't leave me alone hereeee.. I'm scared!"

Takeru twitched, "Gaah! Let go!"

Yuki only grinned. "You guys can go first~ I'll just followe~" she said cheerfully. Suzume only scoffed at her. "Whatever. See ya, loser~" she snickered before half running off past Fujiwara.

"You're going to trip with your injury." Midori spoke quietly, directed towards Suzume who really did have an injured leg. "Shut up, Midori." Suzume spat as she continued on her way.

Yuki only giggled as ran up to glomp Fujiwara. "I missed you Fuji-chan~~" she sang with a grin on her face. If it weren't for her goggles, she would be rubbing her cheeks with Fujiwara's but she held back anyway. She was completely ignoring Takaki. "How was your mission~~?"

Meanwhile, Suzume and Midori reached the administration building and crossed the two redheads' path. Midori ignored them as always while Suzume was snickering. "So what the issue again?" she spoke to Takeru with a meaningful grin.

Fujiwara twitched as she stumbled from Yuki's weight. "Stop calling me Fuji-chan," she half-says, half-growls at Yuki even though she knew it was a lost cause. She grabbed at Yuki's arms and broke free from the glomp and took a step back, "Your teammates had the right idea, I better go report in as well." she says before running of for the administration building.

Takaki stood there, watching Fujiwara run off and waited until she was out of sight. And when she finally was, he broke into a wide grin and dropped to his knees, "HIME-SAMA!" he yelled, "I MISSED YOU!!"

Takeru rolled his eyes, not because of Suzume's tease, it was Shiha who quickly hid behind him. "The hell! She's just Suzume not random ninja!" he spatted before turning at the Yoruchi, "she failed her mission again," he replied with very annoyed voice.

Shiha peered a bit while holding Takeru's jacket. "K-k-konnichi wa......" she greeted shyly.

"Stop hiding and face her yourself!" Takeru pulled Shiha in front of Suzume.

Shiha's eyes widened as she stumbled in front of Suzume, she accidentally grabbed Suzume's arm to prevent herself from falling. However when she realized she touched the Yoruchi...

"K-kyaaaaa!!!" Shiha screamed and went back hiding behind Takeru in flash.

Suzume snickered seeing the female Rizumu stumble about. "I see no reason no to." she spoke, adding insult to injury. She laughed. Her gaze towards Shiha was more than degrading, it was obviously proud and looking down on the Rizumu girl.

Midori didn't care and abandoned Suzume to let her get herself into trouble, not that she'd care anyway. She went straight to the Hokage to report their accomplished mission.

Meanwhile, Yuki didn't seem impressed after Fujiwara ran off from her before she was able to say anything else. And what was worse: she was left with the crazy. She looked at him with a blank look before she went and walked off to somewhere, waving at him, "Later Natsuo-kun, Takaki-kun~"

Takaki had tears in his eyes as Yuki waved goodbye at him. He slumped down to the ground with a happy sigh, "She called my name.." he says, lovestruck. Natsuo waved back at Yuki before walking up to Takaki, poking at the taller boy with his foot. "Get up, Yuudai." he says, a little annoyed, "We have to catch up to Akira... san." he shudders at the thought that of Fujiwara being able to know their every move, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Takaki pales, "Right.. goddess.." he turns to Natsuo in fear, "Do we have to?" he asks. Natsuo nods, "Well, if it's any help, Yuki-san might follow after her teammates to the administration building." at this, Takaki pumped his fists in the air.

"HIME-SAMA!" he yells before hurrying after, leaving Natsuo in the dust, "Hey wait!" the latter called out and tried to run after his teammate before tripping again, "Um yeah, just go on without me!" he yells as he lay there motionless.

Takeru, again, rolled his eyes in annoyance. It wasn't that he hated her sister...ok.. he definitely hated her crybaby-scaredy cat-personality. "We gotta go home.. bye Suzume," he quickly dragged Shiha in appropriate manner by tugging her back collar.

"Onii-sama it's huuuuurt!!" she cried.

Takeru piped up, "Shut up!"

Suzume snickered as he watched the Rizumus leave. "How pathetic." she spoke with a smirk on her face. Right on cue, she saw Fujiwara her then other teammate farther off the distance. 'Great. She really did follow after.' the Yoruchi thought in annoyance -- she found everyone annoying anyway. She just stayed in her spot and leaned on the wall.

"Fuji-chan!" Yuki called again as she caught up to Fujiwara. "You will tell me how your mission went right?" she spoke cheerfully as she walked behind the girl. "Ne? Ne?"

"Finally we're here." Airi let out a long sigh before looking at her team mates that were taking their time in walking. "Hurry up you bastards! Tsk! Slow as ever." The brunette was tapping her feet while waiting for her team mates with a brow arched up, hands across her chest.

"Be a little more patient Airi." Jin fixed his glasses. He was thinking of how to finalize the report to be give to the Hokage.

"Yeah Airi! Learn to loosen up a bit and just enjoy the stroll." Kino was busy looking up the sky. "That place had a lot of pretty women there." He let out a naughty smirk while thinking of the women he just hit on during their mission. His red eyes gleamed with pressure with the thought.

Jin let out a sigh while looking at his team mate. "Concentrate will you."

Kino just let out a grin to the silverette. "You should learn how to loosen up too Jin." The silverette's reply to that was another sigh.

"Bleh! Slow bastards." Airi walked ahead and then noticed she had stepped on someone. She looked down. "Hey you moron. What are you doing on the ground?" She did not even bother to take her foot out.

"It's top secret. Can't tell anybody." Fuji replied, almost automatically. Well, they just escorted some merchants along but that wasn't something she'd tell anyone. She had a reputation to make. Fuji walked faster, trying to get there faster so she'd be able to lock herself inside the Hokage's office and escape through the window. That would be perfect.

"Hime-sama!!" she suddenly hears Takaki call out and she groans, great, another idiot. "Shut the fuck up, Yuudai." she snaps loudly before passing by Suzume who was leaning against the wall. Before she goes in however, she turns to Yuudai, "Stay." she says. Takaki snaps into attention and nods. She glanced at Yuki and thought about whether she should leaver her with him and shrugs. Yuki wasn't her priority and the girl could handle herself anyway. They were shinobi for crying out loud. That had to count for something.

But still idiots, she thinks as she walks down the hall.


Natsuo was just about to pick himself up when he felt someone step on him and he fell back to the ground. He made a small keening sound at the pain. One could only trip so much before the pain finally start kicking in. From the sound of it, it's Jin's team, probably back from a mission as well. What were the odds.

Hearing Airi's question, he tries to answer, but his voice. He shakes his head to the side, until half his face managed to look up at Airi with a wry grin, "Oh you know, just laying around." he snickers at his own joke that nobody else but him finds funny.

Yuki puffed her cheek when Fujiwara rejected her, "Demo~~ Fuji-chan~" she whined. She was still going to bug him until she heard another voice that she did not want to hear at that moment.

"Took you so long, Uchiha." Suzume spoke impatiently before turning to follow after Fujiwara, off to the office as well. "W-wait! Suzume-chan! Don't leave me here!" Yuki went and clung to Suzume's arm. Don't leave me there with him! she thought. She didn't show it much but she was getting crept out by Takaki. "Stay here until we need something." Suzume spoke, pulling her arm away from the half-Uchiha before continuing to walk.
"But--"
"No."
Yuki's shoulders slumped. I'm doomed.

On the other hand, Midori was up back at the office, just about done with her report. "Nothing else important unnoted, Hokage-sama." she spoke calmly, a hand on her hip.

Fujiwara knocks on the door of the Hokage's office, wanting to get this over with quickly so she can return home and get a proper bath. She frowns as the feeling of dirt and grime settles on her and looking back, they should have taken that bath they offered back at the Waves. She shook her head, nevermind that now.

She pokes her head in and sees Midori just about finishing up and she opens the door wider, "I have our mission report, Hokage-sama." she says and steps back.

Takaki smiles as soon as he was alone with Yuki, "Hime-sama~" he says with a happy lilt to his voice, "I was thinking about you during our entire mission. Even the thought of you inspires me~" He inched closer, but not too close that his hime-sama might feel uncomfortable. "What happened during your mission?" he asks, "I am sure that hime-sama was the reason it was a success!"

Airi just raised a brow at Natsuo. "Were you trying to make me laugh?" She put out a chuckle which definitely sounded insulting. The brunette stopped laughing immediately. "It will take more than that to make me laugh." A sudden change of tone happened to her voice. Her foot was still on Natsuo's body.

Jin easily pulled off the younger lady off the poor boy. "I am sorry about Airi's behavior. She just had a rough day today." He did a slight bow.

"Jin! Let go!" Airi was struggling off Jin's hold while being dragged away. "We need to report to the Hokage first before anything else. And apologize to Natsuo next time you see him." Airi directed her glare into the silverette's golden eyes which seem to sparkle with every blink. She immediately scratched that thought off.

Kino passed by Natsuo and decided to help him up. "Hey buddy just becareful next time. We all know this shit happens when Airi is in a bad mood." He had a toothy grin up while looking at Natsuo.

Natsuo bows gratefully at Kino, "Um, yeah, I should have known as much. But I wasn't trying to make her laugh!" he protests and puffs his cheeks, "It's a.. it's a joke.. to myself.. cause I know I'm not funny.. but I find it funny and..." by now, he had his arms crossed over his chest and he was pouting. "You know!" he says exasperatedly, stomping on the ground and slipping and falling back and landing on his butt.

"Will you keep it down!?" Takeru screamed as they arrived home.

"Takeru! Don't scream inside the house," and their mother actually screamed back.

When Takeru and her mother started to argue with loud voice, Shiha tiptoed to her room. Unfortunately when she was about to reach her room's door, Takeru noticed it and grabbed her away instead. Her mother yelled at Takeru again for treating her sister bad. Shiha only could covered her ears. This often happened in Rizumu souke's household.

Meanwhile in the gate, someone from Kirigakure had just arrived.

Natsuo notices someone else by the gates he didn't recognize. He furrowed his brow and didn't bother to stand up as he stared. "Hey Yuuhi-san, do you recognize him?" he asks, pointing. His sister would scold him for that, but she wasn't here right now, was she?

Midori didn't even gave a single glance towards the dark-haired girl at the door and kept her attention at the female Hokage. "I'll be off then." Midori spoke as the Fifth dismissed her. "Arigatou, Hokage-sama." Midori spoke quietly before walking towards the door. She walked past the two without speaking to them or even grunting in recognition. She was already a few meters away when she called Suzume's attention. "Suzume, we're done here." she spoke.

The Yoruchi gave her an unimpressed stare before looking at the other girl, "See ya later, Akira." she spoke waving as she tried to catch up to the red-head.

Yuki's eye twitched slightly when the creep-- err... Takaki started talking. "It was swell~" she hummed, trying to look calm. She didn't like the vibes on the guy and he was the only person that gave her the creeps although she did want to show it. "Midori-chan did most of the work actually~" she spoke trying to get the spotlight off of her. Even though she did want it too.

Kino helped Natsuo up again. "Nothing is never funny for that grump." Then he heard the boy on the ground notice someone from the distance. "I don't know him."
Jin's voice echoed out. "Kino stop goofing around. Reports have to be done immediately." The lively teen just sighed. "Wait!" He turned to Natsuo "I have a nag and a grump for team mates" He said with a sightly annoyed look in his face.

Natsuo smiles up at Kino, "Beats having a dictator on it." he says, before looking around, paranoid. He dusted himself off and bowed, "T-thanks." he says and glances back to the newcomer.

Fujiwara raises his hand as a reply and heads inside the room, closed the door and began reciting the happenings and complications to the Hokage.

Takaki's smile grew wider, "Don't be so modest, hime-sama, I'm sure you did more!"

Suzume and Midori were almost of out the building when an evil idea just popped in the Yoruchi's head. "Hey, Red. This way." she snickered as she dragged Midori to another path out of the compound. Midori didn't even protest. She didn't care much what was Suzume planning.

Yuki on the other hand was starting to wonder where the two were. "Ah, don't be silly, Takaki-kun." she giggled falsely. "I didn't really do much compared to Midori-chan~" she spoke. Where are they???

The Kirigakure no anbu, looked around before continue his steps forward. He noticed the boys, well as if he cared anyway.

Finally, they had settled down. Shiha sighed in relief. Twiddling her fingers dismissively, Shiha didn't dare to stare his angry-brother. Actually, Takeru didn't mad anymore, he was just a bit annoyed. How come their personalities were like earth and sky, Takeru didn't have any idea.

"You must go to sleep or those bags will get worse," Takeru said, glancing at his sister's eyes. She was like a panda... or maybe to be exact like a drug user.

"I can't sleep.. it's still in the afternoon..." Shiha was still twiddling her fingers.

"But you rarely sleep at night too," Takeru grumbled, "just stop drinking coffee everyday!!"

"TAKERU!! DON'T SHOUT IN THE HOUSE, I TELL YOU!" and their mom screamed again.

"Look who's talking!!" Takeru screamed back. "Screw this...." he stood up from the couch, "I'm going to take a walk."
