High School Cliche [[RP Thread]]

It is a very nice day. The sun shows all of his glory.

"Not many clouds are showing today..."

And hot.

Ceno stopped in the middle of the road, in front of his school, Alchaide Academy. His silvery blond hair is a bit sparkling because of the sunlight. Trying to see the sun, he covers his eyes a bit with his hand while looking up.

Usually, Ceno would wear his school jacket; today is just too hot. It is only 15 minutes walk to the academy from his house yet he has already sweated that much. Ceno can only hope the heat will not affect him as he walks into the school.

Summer vacation has ended. Today the class is starting and.. it is still summer...
Although some of students whine and blame the school for only giving them short vacation, some of them are excited to see what the school is planning. It could be some surprising stuff such as festivals or any other exciting events. All of classes are full of chatters until the chimes.

Ceno.
He does not really care about events or such. He takes out his book as the teacher comes in, studiying seriously until afternoon break's chime rings.

January had arrived just a few days before school was set to start, and she was still adjusting. The weather was horrific compared to her regular cold climate and her jet lag gave her the urge to sleep and never wake up again. She somehow found her way to the academy (although she wasn't quite sure how she had accomplished such a feat) and searched for her class. She tried asking a few people where it was but they didn't quite seem to understand her (or, as she thought, didn't try) so she stumbled into a classroom with an empty desk, sat down, and took a nap. She was too tired to notice the confused looks of those around her as she interrupted their class long after it had started.

A small ball of paper was thrown to the newcomer's head a few moments after she might have probably slipped into slumber.

"Nice entry there, genius." the student spoke behind January spoke. Sure this school wasn't like the other schools and the students were free do to as they please but really, sleeping in class as soon as you arrive is kind of taking it too far, Skye thinks.

The paper's impact with January's head woke her up, but she didn't really have much interest in moving from her current position or replying to the person behind her. Regardless, she reached to grab the paper ball and glanced to see if it had anything written in or on it. She fumbled for a pencil from her pocket and scribbled (in English), "Screw off." She then tossed the paper back towards whomever had thrown it, not caring whether or not they understood English in the first place.

The paper ball barely even reached Skye, it was almost at the edge of her desk. She glanced at the girl in front of her and recalled noticing she might have scribbled something on the paper. Curiously, the ginger-haired student uncrumpled the paper to check whatever that was which was written there.

Offended, her jaw dropped slightly as she glanced at the girl again, "Well excuse you." she whispered rather loudly, chucking the crumpled paper back her bag before sitting back and lazily slouching on her chair. "Jesus, people here sure are assholes." she muttered.

January turned to glance back at Skye. Her eyes lazily rested on the redhead as she formed the translated sentence in her head, "Isn't that just the pot calling the kettle black? You aren't too nice yourself."

"Well, at least I know how to behave properly in class." Skye retorted with a flat face. She figures this is pretty much the reason she doesn't like mingling with people. They could be such jerks.

January clicked her tongue. "It's not so much a matter of knowing how to behave as wanting to." She switched back to English and mumbled as she put her head back onto her desk. "... why don't you try flying for 13 hours and going to school in the same week..." She had a sinking feeling that this was going to be worse than school in Oregon. She hoped that, at least for this class, the person behind her would leave her alone to nap so that she could get herself together for the rest of the day.

"Try a five-day tour overseas and school the day after the last tour schedule." Skye muttered, almost to herself before looking out the window. She hates this school for reasons it was just the same as her old school. The students are too carefree. She wouldn't be surprised if this school suddenly has the club her brothers joined during their first year. That would be such a nightmare. She prays the class to be over soon.

When the bell rang to end class January yawned and stretched before gathering her things to leave. She pulled out her schedule as she wiped her eyes to see better, not really paying attention to her surroundings. Her mind was so occupied with translations that she could have easily ran straight into a wall, let alone a person.

Forget running into anything, there were stairs.

Skye walked behind the girl. Apparently she was (maybe) going the same way as the January. Skye's already ran a check on her schedule a bunch of times she's already memorized it. But of course, she was looking around to find the room she was looking for when she noticed the girl who sat in front of her in their previous class, walking straight to the staircase. It would have been nice if it went up, but January was unfortunately on the other side.

Casually, Skye grabbed the girl by the collar, "You should watch where you're going, if you don't want to find yourself in the clinic this early." she said coolly.

January blinked and turned to look at the girl. "Oh, it's you." She looked around to see what the girl was talking about and realized, 'hey, there's a staircase right there,' and made a mental note to herself to pay more attention. She turned back to the girl. "Thank you." She held up her schedule to the girl. "Do you know where this class is?"

Finally the bell rings.
Ok time to move
Ceno grabs his books. The next class should be somewhere upstairs, to be exact, on the third floor. He enrolled to this subject which is supposed for first year since he had extra credits. Moreover, he only got A- before. Class full of freshmen? So be it, Ceno does not really care. However before that, he has some free time to spend.

Library is the perfect place to spend the time. Having decided his destination, Ceno takes the left corridor. He keeps walking until he sees two girls are kind of blocking his way. Having stopped his step for a moment, Ceno continues by taking the space beside orange-red haired girl.
"Excuse me," he says in a mutter. He overheard when the blondie was asking the class whereabouts.
First year?
Ceno thought.
Since it seems the red haired one already knows the answer, Ceno keeps walking.

Skye leaned a bit to look at the girl's schedule. Of course, she wasn't exactly familiar with the whole building herself but it wouldn't hurt to try. "My guess," she began, "it's on the floor below us. It should be in the left wing, if memory serves right." she said.

"You should try looking at your schedule when you're not walking. You might run into someone." she added walking past the girl as she walked down the flight of stairs, "Or you might actually fall down the stairs this time." she spoke, a soft chuckle escaping her lips.

Running across Skye, coming up the stairs was an older boy, Adrian on his way to the library. Both paid neither any attention when they passed each other.

January folded up her schedule and shoved it into her pocket, following the other girl down the stairs. "Thanks again. And... I have bad memory, but what's your name? Mine is January." January didn't even notice the boy. Even if she had she would have forgotten about it already.

"Skye. Skye Harlow." she replied, her gaze turning to January before looking back in front of her. "I see we have the same tastes in uniforms." she laughed. The school rules weren't strict on the uniform assignment but it was pretty uncommon that girls would actually use the boy's uniform. January must probably be the second one she's seen today, save for herself.





Meanwhile, Adrian had somehow pulled out a book while he walked through the corridor and read while he walked. With his eyes and all his attention poured into his reading, he wasn't even able to notice the other boy walking in front of him who was going the same way.

"Whoa, sorry about that!" he said.

January looked down at herself. "Oh! Yeah, I don't like skirts and dresses so much... I don't want to flash someone every time the wind blows." She held out her hand to shake Skye's. "My name is January Garlow. You can call me Jan."

As the guy behind bumps him, Ceno accidentally drops the book he is holding. Ceno stops, he does not say anything. When the guy says sorry, Ceno nods his head and pick his book. "It's okay.." he says, no smile, no particular expression. They are actually in front of library already. No wonder this guy bumped Ceno since Ceno was the one who stopped first. Moreover, the guy was reading his book when he was walking. Realizing the guy may be on the same destination as him, Ceno opens the door and hold it, telling the black haired guy to get in. Ceno doesn't say a word though, he gives the message by a glance. Hopefully, the guy doesn't take it as a threat.

Skye let out a soft chuckle at what January had said. "That would be downright embarrassing, if you ask me." she said. "I'm honestly not comfortable. It feels like my movements are too restricted. Why'd women's fashion have to be so uncomfortable anyway?" she hummed before turning back to the blonde.

"Heh, Harlow and Garlow." she joked, Glad to be of acquaintance, Jan." Skye replied, accepting the handshake. She withdrew her hand almost instantly. She was quiet for a moment but it seemed more like she was thinking. "Sorry about a while ago. I kinda had a bad morning when my brothers came to visit." she explained, scratching the back of her neck.



Adrian casually nods as he walked past the boy and into the library, his eyes going back to his book as if nothing had happened. One time he's probably going actually fall down some stairs rather than hitting a wall, or running into a person like he usually did. He's been like that since Junior High.

January slid her hands into her pockets.  "Well, it doesn't help that most of the designers for women's clothes are men. Or, at least most of the ones that I've heard of." She watched her step as they descended on the stairs. "What can be so bad about your brothers that it ruins your morning? I mean, I've never been a morning person so I'm like that most of the time but..." She glanced at Skye. "Do they really make you that upset every time you see them?"

No need one time, Adrian almost bumped a person as he walked near the locker. Ceno has to grab him by the collar from behind to make it doesn't happen. "Watch out..." he whispers. Knowing that the guy has this reading habit when he walks, Ceno released an unheard sigh. "..Be careful... "
After that, Ceno releases Adrian's collar and walk to the counter to return his book.

"It's nothing like that, don't worry." Skye spoke, looking up to glance at January before looking back to where she walked, "Honestly, my brothers and I actually get along quite well but..." she paused looking up in front of her, pausing in thought before looking back at the ground, "Some intrapersonal issues with them, that's all. Ever since they left the house for work, they rarely came home so it's just sometimes to upsetting when they come home for a visit." she explained.



Meanwhile back at the library...
Adrian look back behind him to see the previous boy holding him by the collar. He looks back in front of him and realized he might have bumped into another student.Huh, not again... he thought to himself before looking back at Ceno and thanking him in a quiet voice. "Sorry about that." he said too.

"Oh, I guess that makes sense." January never had any problems with her brother leaving for work because, well, he never got a chance to leave. She would give anything just to see him again. "Well, since you don't see them often you should cherish the time you have with them." As they arrived on the next floor, January looked around for their next class. She found a sign that looked similar to the name of the next class and pointed to it. "Is that it?"

(Should I wait until vvictory comes back to use Simon? I already submitted a profile and I don't plan on using him right now, I'm just curious.)

Ceno goes to the bookshelf after he returned his book. He is not sure what he wants to find. That alley is history section. Ceno walks a bit deeper. He stops when someone calls his name. It is a girl who is blushing and pushing him a white envelope. Ceno blinks and takes the envelope. "Hey.." Not even could finishing his words, the girl runs away. The boy looks at the letter. It looks like a love letter. 
Love letter...?
....
As he reads the first paragraph, Ceno rips it right away, does not even care whether the girl has actually run or not. Rolling his eyes a bit, Ceno walks out of the alley and throw the shred into trash bin.
Ceno lose his mood. "Damn these people..." he whispers to himself and quickly step to the exit. To the next class, that's it.
